Boot Camp Begins - More Photos, Fewer Words

We’ve been waiting for this since May – Boot Camp!  Finally we learn from the experts.   Our previous method of learning was to go out to the rig, push a button, wait to see what happens, read the manual, have a glass of wine and go out and push another button.  Fun but not especially effective.   Today however, we learned!  I won’t bore you with the details of everything, but we sat on hard folding chairs from 1-6:30 pm with only 2 short breaks and were enthralled.  We’re more than ready to go back tomorrow.  OK, maybe we’re a bit geeky about this, but it’s fun! 

 

The cats seemed to do really well in the rig alone all afternoon.  They were happy to see us but there’s no evidence of trauma. 

Back at the rig we had another round of BLTs for dinner thanks to Julie who sent a bunch of heirloom tomatoes with us.   

We can get PBS TV and tonight had fun selections.  Hopefully many of you will recognize the stars on the screen.    

Cool temperatures tonight (50s) and possible thundershowers.  We're loving the cool temps.
